AKA: Heart #15
This heart sculpture is the first created at full scale in my long planned heart series discussing failed and destroyed, faded or just plain dead, relationships from various chapters in my life.
This sculpture won second place in the acc student art show.
scale: around 2.5 by 1.5 by 1.5 feet
materials: a re purposed wooden school desk(base), reclaimed wood(heart), several hundred bullet casings of assorted caliber, red stained poly-acrylic resin, lamp components with red light bulb, stain, watercolors, ink, paper.
over a hundred hours from start to completion.
